LAKE IROQUOIS ASSOCIATION
July 26, 2006 Board Minutes
The Board returned to open session at 7:05
pm on Wednesday, July 26, 2006.
Present were: Phil Iverson, President
and presiding officer; Enid Miller; Tracy Rodriquez and Floyd Woolridge.
Mark Webster and one guest were also present.
CORRESPONDENCES
Miller
updated the Board on correspondence from the Johnson family regarding
electrical easements for their new garage.
Iverson brought up
discussion of a letter received by Carl Larsen regarding an encroachment
issue with his property. Woolridge made a motion, seconded by
Rodriquez to offer to sell Mr. Larsen the minimum amount of Lake Iroquois
Association property necessary, not to exceed five feet, to enable
him to resolve the encroachment issue. Motion carried.
Iverson
brought up correspondence from Mr. Meitz regarding a roll-in dock.
The Board reviewed Mr. Willisıs response and if a formal request for
dock space is submitted, Webster will determine if space is available.
FACILITIES
ENGINEER - Webster
Webster advised that he received a Memorandum Agreement
from Foth & VanDyke/Daily Division regarding the water tower work.
Iverson advised that Foth & VanDyke/Daily Division will be charging
us by the hour for their work.
A motion was made by Rodriquez, seconded
by Woolridge to approve the memorandum of Agreement for Engineering
Services from Foth & VanDyke/Daily Division in the amount of $6500
for contract documents for water tower work. Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
Miller advised that she will send Jeff Goss a letter advising
that he is in violation of the LIA building rules by not submitting
acceptable Elevation Reports for his new construction on Huron Lane.
Iverson advised that he would talk to the Public Health Department
regarding pool safety issues.
Miller moved, seconded by Rodriquez,
to go into Executive session at 9:50 p.m. Motion carried.
Miller
moved, seconded by Woolridge, to go back into Open session at 10:40
p.m. Motion carried.
Milled moved, seconded by Rodriquez to adjourn
at 10:43 p.m. Motion carried.
